Travel Talk: Turks and Caicos

I know I said it nearly every time but traveling doesn’t have to be limited to the privileged few. If anything, it can be integrated into your everyday life especially with smart planning.

Fear of Flying

This past weekend I had the chance to visit Turks and Caicos island with my best friend. As I floated in this water that seemed perfectly stained like the windows in the church, I realized how much travel has impacted me.

Exploring Loss through Love

I have a voice mail from my grandpa on November 8th,2015 wishing me safe travels and reminding me that he loved me. Two weeks later I was in Ghana exploring things that seemed to have been lifted directly from a history book.

Dear 2016, I Ain't Sorry

This past year has truly been one for the books and I'm excited that the end is quickly approaching. Just like every other year that has came and went, I started this one off with resolutions, vision boards, and prayers for better.

Dead Ends

I remember going completely natural in 2010. I was in my second year of college and I felt liberated to be starting something new.

Blessing In Disguise

Words From KA: We are told that if we work hard and pray hard that we will receive what we want. I believe this to be true but what happens when the universe intercepts your original plan?

If the levee breaks

Words from KA: What happens when your protector needs protection? What happens when your support system begins to collapse and now you're forced to be strong?

Making the Team

Words from KA: Last month I wrote about my mom being laid off from her job of nearly 30 years and how it came as such a surprise. This occurring was a reminder that sometimes God gives us a plan that does not seem like much of a plan at all.
